Sick bike Moccos. Back on SS… hardcore!
SS is great, I feel like I’m just there to enjoy the ride, not trying to get somewhere really quickly.
Can anyone recommend a new tyre?
Pretty much just ride Yarra Trails, want to go tubeless.
Maxxis iKon or ardent race.
And plus One on SS, I had my niner 32x18 for yarra trails, could not quite clear Hans loop on that but made for a good challenge. Climbing was surprisingly fun and fast in it.

I’m riding 32:16 and the only spots I’ve had issues with is going up that steep bit to the historical marker thing on the crit loop and a couple of the difficult stair bits from the part near Nike. I was able to ride those with gears, but I think a less worn rear tyre and less psi would help.
EDIT - I’m actually riding 32:18
Ordered some new tyres over the weekend, will organise a tubeless kit and set it up when it all arrives.
Also going to buy a bottom bracket tool so I can pull it all out to clean and regrease. I’ve had a squeak since I rotated the bb for current gearing. Bottom bracket itself is still running fine.
This afternoon I went tubeless!!
Sold it.
Regret selling it.
the video you posted wheelieing through your back gate whilst flipping the bird was one of the greatest videos ever made.
and i’m pretty sure it was on that bike.
