sports massage / osteo recommendations?

Can anyone suggest a sports masseuse come osteo in the northcote area?

Being on the wrong side of 30 has seen me gradually start to fall apart and needing to be much stricter with recovery. I’m hoping a semi-regular massage will help that.

Impact massage.

Next to bluebird espresso.

Magic hands

Not in northcote but I swear by Adrian at Copeland massage in malvern east. He’s a cyclist and ex crit racer that does massage and stretching that is very specific to cycling.

Malvern is too far to travel time wise for me at the moment. Thanks for the recommendation.

I’ve heard good things about impact, maybe from here?

Will visit.

Dominic Briscomb at First Place Osteopathy on High St Northcote.
He is a good man and good at what he does.
Also a bike nut, which is a big plus.
Sorted me out many times after I turned 30 and things started to fall apart.

Seeing him in a few weeks for a bike fit. Didn’t realise he worked in town as well. Thanks.

he’s not in northcote anymore, he works & lives in Woodend I think. works Wednesday day in the cbd & bike fits at Fitz Rev.

There is also Drew Blatchford in the CBD at city osteo. He has a cycling background and good at what he does.
Otherwise I know a few awesome dudes in brunswick. Not Bike specialist but great practitioners.

Not worried about not cycling specific. I’m a far cry from an athlete, and half my issues come from bouldering or gym anyway.

I can also recc Anthony dileo for Osteo, he’s in nth-fitz/northcote, just near Northside clinic

There’s definitely a good number of users on here who have benefited from scooter’s magic hands @ impact.

If they are good enough for world and national champions then they are good enough for me.

Plus the banter is excellent.

Have seen most of the physios at Back in Motion in Alphington (Northcote branch probs similar, but this is more convenient on my way home). Sprained my lower back this week, got that worked on as well as generic upper back work/massage. Of course painful at the time but always walk out feeling better than when I walked in.

I go to the Osteopathy Clinic at Victoria University in the CBD. $25 per session and they are super thorough.

Impact massage

magic hands down

Been here for 3 sessions so far with Kaley.

Overall pretty happy, thorough initial exam and picked up some old injurys many others have missed.

Sorted out my initial issues and now price is agreeable enough that I can sort out the smaller problems.

Cool, yeah they are pretty good.

Any recommendations between the city and Coburg?

Physiohealth in Essendon on Keilor rd, not too out of the way if you’re in Coburg. Not just talking them up because they’re our team sponsor, they’ve been genuinely helpful with some knee issues I’ve had lately.

Back In Motion on Sydney road were excellent when i had to see an osteo/physio recently.

But if its a sports massage, just detour slightly and go see scooter. very much worth the time.

Very much. I saw him yesterday.

Where else will you get top notch treatment and cool stories of bike adventures?
