I am heading up to Noosa this weekend and trying to map out a ride. Does anyone know if you are allowed to ride on the Sunshine Motorway?
Short answer, no.
Long answer, there are other ways, side roads, but longer.
Definitely no, take the David Lowe way.
Where are you planning on dropping in ?

Starting in Noosaville, up in to Noosa, then down DL way to Coolum. I was looking for a loop, but went with the out and back option along DL way. Trying to keep it below 50k.
Go as far south as the airport and then head down along the beach to Mudjimba then turn around.
My <50k is really a time constraint. So based on what you have said, i’ll just keep going south until I need to turn around. I have heard that DL way is sweetly smooth, so dependent on windage, I may be able to smack out some extras.
Best thing is it’s usually a tail wind back to noosa and the roads are brilliant hot mix.
