I’ve had enough of the dude with a ponytail cutting my hair and can’t find somewhere with good attention to detail at a reasonable cost in Canberra.
I’ll be in Sydney CBD near Sussex St on Sunday so I’m wondering if there’s anybody worth checking out like Rockit Barber in Melbs. Budget is around $35.

There’s a hipster barber shop on King Street Newtown, down near where Hell on Wheels is. No idea if it’s any good, but the dudes in there all have sw8 high fades and coiffs.
Any of the old italian barbers on the main part of king street will do the job. I go to an old italian bloke in the CBD, he does a good job, is super quick, and costs $23. But I only ever get short back n sides…

To be honest, I’ve had hair cuts at almost all the barbershops in Sydney (of the hip, $40 plus range, like the barbershop bar/barber, the one in the rocks, the dude in newtown)…
…and they all suck. Nothing beats a cheap, $15 barber. The one on Clarence next to town hall is my pick of the lot. $15 bucks for a good do.
