Just finishing game of thrones season 2, then I start Boardwalk Empire season 2 and then the Wire season 1…
And anyone into cop dramas (The Shield etc) should check out a French show called “Braquo” I picked it up out of boredom and was hooked after about episode 3.

Funny as hell. Easily the funniest show ive seen in a while.
Also been watching a 15 part doco called ‘The Story Of Film’
If you like film, its fucking amazing. Really in depth look at cinema from its birth to now(ish). Looks at everyone, from Chaplin, Keaton, Ozu to Bergman to Kubrick, Mann, Goddard, Brunnel, Park Chan-wook, you name it! Highly recommend.
Is that the one with weird Irish/Scottish/whatever accented narrator? if so, I caught a few eps on SBS a while back, but the dude’s voice just gave me the shits and I couldn’t keep watching.

Whilst often true, (2013) is pretty excellent.
No kidding. I’m implying that it feels like I watched it years ago, when really it was probably a month or so.
Coming to the end of season 1 of the Wire, can’t believe it took me this long to get into this show… Got a message from the library that my season 2 of Hell on Wheels is now in, anyone else watch this show? I’m completely hooked.
I saw the wire last year. so sad it’s no longer unseen.
However, given I’ve only ever seen an ep or two of the sopranos it’s all going to be ok.
Hell on wheels wasn’t that great IMHO. It’s no Deadwood.
