Track frame ID

The frame in question has a Columbus stamp on one of the chainstays so i assume that all is the brand of all the tubing and both the front and rear drop outs are Campagnolo. The only ID numbers or stampings on the bottom bracket are either “11” or “II”.

When i was looking at the Paconi track frame on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=200333047531i noticed what looks to be the same style of and seat stay joining method as my frame and the same style of double crown fork. This prompted me to ask if the frame has any markings the bottom bracket, to which he replied “hi it looks like 11 on bottom bracket also v1111 just near that thanks.”

So what i really want to know is does this mean my frame is likely to be a Paconi, or am i being too ambitious and was this a common stamping?

Here are some photos of my frame and the Paconi on eBay so you can make your own comparison. (More photos here http://fixed.org.au/forums/index.php/topic,7010.0.html)

just ring up paconi. they’re in the book!
