has anyone had any luck with taking a bike with you on regional trains? From the information I found online, yes you can - but it is checked luggage and you need to box it up + it adds an extra $12.10 to the fare.
Thinking this could be a good way to quickly cover more ground by training it out to a destination from Canberra to Sydney and riding back.
