Velocity - Australian Distributor of AEROSPOKE

Soz, can’t tell you that here.

Just going to go understated and get a metallic silver pair to match my understated metallic frame. Happy days.

Containers drop in two to three weeks kids.

Very nice! I really do like the 20th anniversary wheels, are you going with the red anniversary pair?

They’re heavy, flexy, but they look nice, and sometimes that’s all that matters!

Thinking met silver/blue.

I honestly just can’t believe the price.

ok, well, coming from someone who has actually owned one…

yes they are a LITTLE heavier than your average wheel, nothing to make you go ZOMGWTF ITZ SOO HEAVY!!!

yes, if you push the wheel sideways when its on the bike it will move a fair amount, HOWEVER, and i cannot stress this enough, when actually riding one ( see thats where most spok opinions fail) they actually feel very sharp and responsive*.

  • not just my opinion but upon feeling this difference i had a few friends/forum members ride it and they all said the same thing

True, they do ride really nice, much better than you’d think when the bike is stationary. I find that especially in a straight line, you can get the power down really quickly.

I’ll have to check them out again tomorrow, I didn’t manage to get prices today, but you say they’re pretty amazing prices? Sounds good to me! +1 on the blue/silver.

would some one please post WHERE/HOW MUCH/link to annerversery please.

Scroll down until you get to the section that talks about “colour options” and there’s a section on the 20th anniversary colour options. Prices on that page are in USD, I’ll get some prices tomorrow for you.

The question now is, should I do it?

Hmm… Wonder if Goose can hook us up with a groupbuy

btw, for anyone who might not have noticed, it’s $295 for the wheel, then an extra $100 for the 20th colourway. thought it might not be clear. the fade does look nice though

It’s always good when a brand at least gets picked up for Aust distribution, but didn’t they kinda miss the boat???

thats the way i read it which turns still makes it an expensive wheel

just buy a standard wheel? those special ones like ass anyway :expressionless:

Nath - what are there like to time trial on?

I never see the cool kids with them at Triathlons (or any kids for that matter).

lol,

they are actually pretty fast to ride on, so honestly id say they are an awesome wheel,

as long as your not going to be doing heavy tricking…

I only ever bunny hop at tri’s.

I haven’t tried aero but I vote deep v over b43.
Second hand deep V took 8 months of couriering before it started to lose tension
Brand new b43 lasted a couple of days before spokes started to snap.
I might’ve gotten a dud. It’s been sent back to manufacturer.
But I’ve got another deep v and its chuggin along nicely.

Also as a side note b43’s feel like heavy bastards in comparison.

id say you somehow got a dud, i have been riding/ tricking on my B43’s since a few weeks before they were released and only broke a spoke last week, wheel is still true as new, also had a big high speed fall+ shifty falling flat on them at polo

and its funny how there only seems to be that one picture of a broken one

Ive go an aerospoke & think its great.

Fast, strong, reliable. Its never given me any issues & looks cool.

As a plus if you happen to spill super glue all over one, it scrapes off easily with just your nails
