Velorama Event on Peel St- Fri 6 December 6pm

INVITATION: Ride in to Peel Street for a unique movie experience
Adelaide’s hottest new destination will be turned into the city’s first ‘ride-in’ movie theatre next week when Peel Street hosts its first pop-up cycling film event.
Presented by Velorama, an initiative by local business Orbit Design Group (and other cycling enthusiasts), this free movie festival is designed to celebrate the fun of cycling and cinema in a uniquely urban setting.
With food and drink available from some of Adelaide’s newest small venues and the 1979 Oscar-winning classic “Breaking Away” screening from 8pm, visitors are encouraged to get to Peel Street early to secure their spot on the “freshly laid” astro turf.
The event is one of the outcomes from the recent ‘90-day placemaking project’ in Peel Street, which has brought together existing, new and potential businesses.
The film festival is the first in a series of exciting place leader driven initiatives to be implemented in Peel Street over the coming months and is supported by State Government and Adelaide City Council.
COME AND JOIN THE FESTIVITIES in Peel Street on Friday, 6 December from 6pm.
