Any B&O fanbois/collectors in ADL?
Got a set of these that need a good home. Mate gave them too me but I don’t really need them.

I would like to keep them but just don’t have the space as there are three sets of bookshelf speakers in the reading room already.

Speakers are working fine. It does seem like the passive driver in one of the speakers has come away from it’s mounting.
I haven’t disassembled the enclosure to confirm this.
Let me know if you want them, still a bargain.

If anyone in Sydney is after a cheap set up I’m offloading a set of speakers and a turntable at the moment. FOA mates rates of $190 dinero’s for the two including delivery, all you need is an amp: 20 to 70 watt’s should be fine (or even higher as long as you don’t wind it up). Pick up is fine too & I can hook it up so you can hear exactly what you’re buying.

I know this aint vintage (well probs 90’s) but, y’know its not Bose ipod dock crap.
Sussed a decent setup for our kitchen -which is the only common room used really.

Denon digital receiver amp, Mission 760i speakers. Really good sound for little bookshelf.
Only cost $90 all up including nice new fat speaker cables from Jaycar. Ebay deals to be had people.
Beats the hitachi ghetto blaster easy, and means I can have that in the shed or my room.
Gonna put the speakers up on the walls I think.
Well done. These not old nor new era amp’s are serious cheap and there’s so many being dumped.
That’s incredible value btw … take your time with speaker placement. Try a few different spots before deciding.
Yeah its more cos there isn’t alot of free bench space at the mo, so makes sense to get them off the ground.
Shed style speaker hanging, spoke plus v-brake pad washers.
And they sound better against the wall, bit more bass. Just going to play around with height and distance apart.
Hey Mike, that dent in the dust cover can be sucked out with a vacuum cleaner. If that doesn’t work a pin end with super glue sometimes does the trick.
Doesn’t improve the sound, but looks heaps betterer.

Nice cabinetry and the home made speakers could be hit or miss (probably the latter) but the Denon turntable (which I can quite make out the model # of) is likely to be a corker/hidden gem.
