BLACK IS BETTER!

Big thanx to Nick at Saint Cloud helping me source some of the parts! Cheers mate.

Again… great work Mark. Retiring the Schwinn? Must get my act together and ride with you.

Still undecided on what to do with the Schwinn cos it’s my first JB. Thinkin about adding some drops to it and taller gearing and using it for longer street rides, we’ll see how I feel after the new wheels turn up for the Thrasher and I put the 43’s back on the Schwinn.

that looks like a seriously sweet ride!!!

mark nice work man it looks awesome and bet it rides so too!

WOW
that bike is fking good!!!
after you get the phils and chukkers, that bike would be so sick!

So got Phil’s laced to H+Son EERO’s on 40c Michelin City’s now oh so smooth. Updated pics soon.

Looks super fun!

just curious but why phil hubs on a trick bike? why not profiles or something with a 3/8" bmx axle. i don’t see the logic unless you got those supa sexy iso phil track hubs

I did look at the ISO version but got regular track hubs instead. As for putting them on a trick bike, why not? I’m not 18 and planning on bombing 10+ stair drops any time soon nor am I keen on running pegs.
They’re beautiful hubs and I like them. It’s an awesome bike and rides so, so smooth.
Next bike will be something I can do some serious kms on or take to a velo for some laps.
On the look out for a 55-56cm track frame, maybe an older steel frame even.

New pics of it now finished in OP.

Keep coming back to this thread for inspiration, epitomises my new bike project/goal. Such an awesome ride!

Still in the saving dosh and researching stage though

same, would love to get something sweet and learn a few tricks.

Nice thrasher buddy, i also agree with you ride the hubs you like mate and ride them fast

this bike is effing mean, the phil wood hubs … :o ~ one of the best bikes i’ve seen on here so far.
