Does anyone know any decent trail linking combos?

Recently did Capital City > Main Yarra > Darebin > Darebin North > M80 > Moonee Ponds > Capital City, which was pretty fun. Looking to do Craigieburn > Hume Trail > M80 > Plenty River (??) > Main Yarra > Capital City in the near future.

Inner or outer city doesn’t really matter. Bonus points for train line at the end, or exit points.

I rode merri creek>M80>Hume> Cooper St> Moonee Ponds last week. all on-bike paths except for cooper St, which has a reasonable bike lane. lots of swooping magpies though. Follow Liam on Strava to see this activity. Join for free.
Probably wouldn’t do it again, but reasonable enough. The Caulfield to wherever skyrail ends (Dandenong?) bike path opens this weekend, that might be able to link into some loop somewhere

For best sensations: Yarra trail onto eastern freeway/koonung trail, head south on the bike path before Ringwood, Dandenong creek trail, the basin shops for a pie and buy a beer, up basin Olinda Rd and up ridge road to Burke’s look out to watch the sunset over Melbourne. Then take the train home from Boronia.

Riding Lilydale through to Warburton, up Donna Buang, down to Healsville and back to Lillydale tomorrow if anyone is keen?

Rode the MGG #15 Macedon route yesterday evening, as a 40km loop out of Riddells Creek. Was excellent - easily one of the best short loops close to Melbourne that I’ve done. Going to make this a regular Sunday morning ride.
