Correct torque is for wimps. More torque.

@cam - no loctite. Only anti-seize.

@alex - my feeble arms have limited torque production abilities.

I had a similar situation a few years ago, couldn’t work it out so dropped my bike off at Stanmore Bikes for them to have a go. Got my bike back a week later, and every possible threaded component had been massively torqued and/or loctited stuck.

They fixed it, but it took me years to find a lever long enough to remove the pedals, and I’m pretty sure that BB is never ever coming out of the frame. Nice and quiet though!

Should have posted earlier! This is fixed. Re-installing the headset and greasing the skewers seems to have solved it :smiley:
