Which tool for freewheel removal?

I have a 8 speed sachs maillard freewheel which I want to remove but I am unsure which tool is the right one.
I think I need the equivalent of a parktool FR-1 (http://www.parktool.com/product/freewheel-remover-fr-1)?
Can anyone share some knowledge?

Here is a pic:

Just want to make sure before I buy the wrong tool.

Cheers!

If your just gonna remove it once why not take it to a shop? - it’ll be cheaper than the tool and if they don’t have it you won’t pay - or buy the wrong one…

Campy freewheel tool.

Although I just begrudgingly removed one of those with an angle grinder. It was seized onto the hub and no amount of Wd40 etc and force/leverage could budge it.

Bit of a noob question on the same topic.

I have a 18t freewheel with 8 splines/slots instead of 4. I’m looking at removing and swapping to a smaller freewheel.
The question is, will a 4 prong removal tool work?

The freewheel is a cheapie which came with the wheels, only info I can find is below.
LONG YIH INDUSTRY COMPANY

You need a Shimano TL-FW30 freewheel tool.

Shimano TL-FW30 N600EX, Dura-Ace Z Freewheel Remover: Thin Wall on eBay!

If you have a look below you’ll notice the spline ridges are quite thin (unlike earlier Maillard freewheels). + most LBS’s should have the the Shimano tool.

Yes, or any copy of such … standard thin wall Shimano freewheel tool.
