who's up for some dirt rides? name your time and place.

I’m going for a ride this arvo. I’m heading out to Westerfolds to ride Hans Loop. Anyone in the inner suburbs who wants a lift out there should flick me a PM. I have room for one other.

Also there’s a giant demo day at Westerfolds Park tomorrow (Sunday 27 March). No SS but some 29er duallies… Thought some of you might be interested.

See you there.

Mt. Buller tomorrow and Sunday, fark yeah.

Jealous dude

that makes two of us!

Nice to meet you on Monday night Trigger (and Tom). Sorry I couldn’t make any other nights this week. Its been a busy one!
BTW I ended up with a very nice shiner - all yellow and purple today.

Have fun at Buller. Hop a Wombat hole for me.

Buller was awesome, I seriously recomend you go up there for a weekend and enjoy what they have to offer. Also, knee pads aren’t a bad idea.

Did you do Downhill or more trail/xc?

No downhill, my bike might handle downhill, the bikes owner can not! I can’t remember the names of thebtrails other than stonefly, but it was all xc/am oriented. Stonefly was awesome, it’s a long climb to the top but the downhill is awesome, lots of berms, a double or two and plenty of little rises to get air on.

I might be looking for a ride sunday, idk yet.

There’s a 50/50 chance I will be going to Woodend on Sunday. I’ll let y’all know.

just curious, is it quite difficult to get to these trails (around melbourne) without a car? I dont think my car could fit a bike in it.

Hey Leitchy, The rides in the we regularly do on Yarra and Maribyrnong are really close to the city. There are more rides out towards Westerfolds park, a good hour and a bit’s ride up the Main Yarra Trail. I am told that there are good rides that you can catch the train to in Epping and Eltham too - I haven’t ridden there yet. Not sure what the PT’s like to Lysterfield. Not so good for getting to Wombat/Woodend - though there is a V Line that goes to Woodend. So get that bike in your car bud!

Trigger, let me know If you’re heading out to Woodend. I’m keen.
