Widest tyre on a Deep V

Hey guys, Ive googled and searched the Forum already but can’t find a definite answer.

What is the widest tyre I can run on a Velocity Deep V?

Rim specifications say 19mm width but I don’t kow if this is inside our outside measurement. I would think 28s or close would be the largest you could run, but people on other forums are saying they have run much wider with no issues…

I have ran 38c with no issues, high and low pressure. Was only over the period of a week so not really long enough to tell if it’d stay on there all the time in all situations.

I did run 32c for years with no issues though.

rim width:

size of tires anywhere between 19 and 42 should be alright. i ran 42’s on a 19mm rim for 6 months with no issues

I ran 35’s and I’m still alive.
