1985 Pogliaghi Italcorse Pista

The track bike is finally done…

Must first off thank Gypsy for the frame, wheels and crankset…

Story goes a older gent walked into Gear and said he had a old track bike in the boot that they might be interested, so Gypsy went and had a look and the rest is history…

The serial number dates it to Mid 1985. This is after Rossin had taken over the Pogliaghi frame building duties…

Parts list is as follows

Frame & Fork = 1985 Pogliaghi Italcorsa Pista 55 x 55
Headset = Dura ace
BB = Shimano 600
Stem = Nitto Pearl
Bars = Nitto 38cm Alloy with Cloth Bar tap
Seat Post = Dura ace 7400 aero
Seat = Rolls
Chain = Izumi Black
Crankset = Dura ace 7600
Pedals = Mks RX1 and Mks cages and Toshi straps
Wheelset = Dura ace 7600 tied and soldered to front Mavic Open 4 CD and rear Ambrosio Elite Prisma
Tires = Veloflex record










I love it because its not a show pony… Its been used and raced
