Hardly into road bikes but I do like the “old” Cannondales and my girl is getting faster quickly. Just a matter of time she will not like riding with me anymore. Put it on here first when you sell it please…

Some tosser had a go at me on Pedalroom for building up the SS CAAD4. Something along the lines of “this should have been built up as a road bike”…Someone obviously never experienced the full radness of Cannondale singlespeed!!

Saving cash wasnt the aim, more of a combination of really enjoying commuting on a SS, and feel like im reaping some benefits physically too, so a full ten speed is a little overkill. I know i can just use one gear on the group, but if i can offload it then why not.
Your right though that after converting it, ie wheels, brakes etc, price difference is minimal.
