How did I miss that?! That’s hilarious. Two things - one, imagine riding your bike to a constant chorus of cheers, that’s gotta be good for the ego. Two - the least the driver could do is move his seat forward a little.
I know! Imagine how much faster you would ride down beach rd if a million people were cheering you! Would be so shit if you were having a shit day though
It’s the coming trend, out front mounts are on the way out.
Bretagne-Séché used stems, Katusha have the computer that looks glued on the stem, europcar etc.
I’m going to beat the trend and start putting my garmin on the top tube.
mount it like a rear light, so others can see how hard you’re going!

Dodgy barriers

Yep. Though it would probably also help if professional cyclists actually looked in the direction they were riding, rather than going with the Andrew Talansky school of sprinting.
ntbd.
Grrrrr
I can’t decide who i am more impressed with… the belkin rider who slaloms and endos or the cannondale rider who survives the ‘tomahawk chop’ from the flying frame. both of whom keep the bike up right and do some ‘Sime-style’ drifting skids.
As always, an entertaining read.
Considering TSP crashed in the first week and nursed an injury for the next two, have it been ascertained who it is yet?
You tell us!
So, we can rule out the 54* riders who didn’t crash

From the Secret pro blog…
…The Tour de France went okay for me except for a crash in the first week that gave me a niggling injury for the next two weeks…
So the secret pro is Gerro?
not gerro.
Sound pretty sure of yourself Jamesy.
well, he infers that his crash was down to the crows in England, rather than another rider. He also suggests that he is nervous about contracts, whereas I reckon Gerro is pretty set contract wise.
I’m not sure at all, just fairly certain it’s not Gerro. It’s probably just Wade making shit up.
That would be hilarious if true
You can’t call him that.
