The finish of the 2nd Stage was with how well Pog and Del Toro rode and the sheer overwhelming joy shown by Del Toro 1st and Pog was so good to observe. Yes Pog could have won it but he gained some serious Karma points with how he rode, in allowing Del Toro the win.
As far as Remco Evenepoel goes, he was full of excuses again, just like yesterday!
Jonas Vingegaard, well I’m undecided about him yet but he didn’t seem to have the legs to overtake Pog or Del Toro.
Paul Seixas, well he had two mishaps that required chasing back on so no judgement can be made on his effort.
Jonas doesn 't have the kick Pog has. He has previously been able to do long climbs as good or even slightly better than Pog on occaision and that has been his only weapon. I don’t think he still can.
G’day mate! I think that Pogacar may win this after last night . I’m really gonna have to read his Clinic thread later, those boys must be seething lol! Good to see the Red Bull boys getting along well too….Even a pole particularly outspoken last night at the end. I’m really not sure why he….and Pidcovk to be honest…..don’t concentrate on smashing the big one day races?
Stage 6 and Pog showed his intentions in a dominate way. Vingegaard had no answer but was clearly better than the rest of the chasers.
Evenepoel continued with his excuses but this time is attacking his Team for his lack ability too go with the others and not beat Del Toro for 3rd place on the day!
