I’d offer you a room, but at the moment we’re sleeping on the spare bed we’ve moved into the lounge room and all the other furniture and our possessions are in the back half of the house. It’s chaos. Bloody renovations and painting.
Had booked my flights planning to race before I broke my collarbone on the velodrome… Still not riding so have cancelled my tickets.

I’m thinking super positive about my thumb in the hope its solid enough to ride both days. If not, I’ll be packing extra batteries for the mini-mega(phone).
Looks like the courses are going to be very muddy this weekend.
It’s wet and windy today, showers are clearing tomorrow afternoon and no rain forecast for the weekend. Temperatures are going to be pretty low though (14° on Saturday and 15° on Sunday) so I don’t see any of course drying up). Looks pretty much perfect, with clear(ish) skies and light winds and a nice wet muddy course. It’s going to be fun. Bring your gumboots.
Thought I may as well check, Caz and I will be driving over tonight after I finish work; no one would happen to have a couch or a floor we could crash on do they? Issue is we will be getting into ADL super early in the morning (like 4am kinda early). Long shot but thought I’d just check in case.

Saw some good racing and some great people get some new jerseys.
Got to have some fun out there and not DFL despite a bunk thumb.
My bike will definitely need some quality relationship rebuilding after saturdays mud (and a ghetto clean at the ‘CX motel’).
It was fun spectating and made me want to start racing again.
Maybe next year.
