FFS I wasn’t asking a question doofus, I was making the point that the traditionally narrow flanged spacing of the SP seems to have improved quite a bit.
Looking at the spec, the SP 6-bolt is 52mm (c-c) which is actually better than SON which is 47.5mm
Schmidt managed to increase the flange spacing to 68 mm. This not only is 18 mm wider than the standard Delux hub (above left), but even 6 mm wider than the SON28.
They’re all still wider than a rear cassette hub, so buy the one you like the look of.
Blakey its you who is being the pain in the arse here… H was asking a rhetorical question, so technically speaking he wasn’t asking a question ACTUALLY… Your constant attempts to belittle him seem like like nothing more than bullying and its Bullshit. Cut it out. Start acting more like a mod and less like an arsehat.
In any case, equal flange spacing will build a stronger wheel, so the SP should be as good if not better than the SONdelux (on paper at the very least).
Thread dig-
I lost one of the little connectors on my SP hub.
Do I need to buy the specific SP branded male/female connector, or is the Shimano ones compatible??
