Aero Helmets

“The Giro Synthe Helmet is the pinnacle of road helmet design.”… “It is a true synthesis…” aaannnnd that’ll do me for now. Made me want to throw up a little.

I’m waiting for the new kask

protone?

vertigo 2.0 is only 230 ish from bike24

LBS confirmed with the reps that Kask are taking ordering next week, with delivery mid feb.

If my oakleys dont foul on the retention system, then im sold. RRP $349

I heard it failed testing, if do it will be mid year at best.
To be honest most reps are not passed on much info and don’t ask many questions, most consumers know more.

While I don’t deal with bikes I find you can classify sales reps into 2 categories:
Awesome and useless - they never seem to be anywhere inbetween.

Also fuck those helmets. It’s like a mullet. Run of the mill helmet at the front, aero at the back.

Just like a inverse mullet :stuck_out_tongue:

I have a giro air attack for the track… and i love the visor. like wearing sunglasses with out anything close to your face, it makes me feel fast… and its all about feeling cause haven’t got the speed. :stuck_out_tongue:

+1, i just use it for my commutes now, one less thing to bring is always handy (two cos i dont need a cap either)

Also got the Kask Protone and loving it, obviously not for the aero benefits, its just an awesome lid

^^ tell me more about those rims in the pic…

S80s

So you commute on a cannondale with s80’s di2 and a air attack with a visor?
You must fly haha
Where did you get the protone? I’m wanting one pretty bad

commutes and weekend non-hills loops, no fucks given =D

but now the protone is the weekend goto helmet, air attack just for commutes

actually saw a few guys on recumbents using air attacks, i giggled
