Since this is still up near the top of the post your ride section I’ll post this in here rather then the what you’ve done to your bike thread.
sooo much better.
How’s your riding position now?
i haven’t ridden it much since yesterday.
muuuuuch better. just do more stretches before you sleep!
Definitely flipped, no question about it. In fact. get one with more rise, flipped.
Agree with this… and slam the stem/chop the steerer while you are at it!
For the love of god Isaac, if you insist on riding brakeless, please get better straps than that.
lol and at least 10 more teeth on the front!
ha ha!!!
they are semi-decent. i can at least skid fine with them.
Also, I’m (hopefully) going up to 48 teeth and stopping their until I can go higher. I’m not gonna run anything but a 17t on the rear, 17 skid patches. And I won’t chop the steerer down anymore. I just need to upgrade the parts that are rubbish. I like my setup like this apart from the bad quality parts.
If you’re going up around that mark, go a 49. As the square of a prime, you’ll get plenty of skid patches no matter what you have on the rear (save for any multiple of 7)
This. Just have a little more of a think about things. I assume you’re running 46 on the front currently? Which would give you around 71 G.I. If you go 49/18, you’ll have the same G.I and a whole extra skid patch! Or, you could go one better, put a 19 on the back, get TWO extra skid patches and take your G.I down to 67 which is more likely going to be better for you running brakeless. As the saying goes, spinners are indeed winners.
Bike’s looking pretty good though dude.
It does look pretty good now, but since ‘fixed’ is now offically over, you better sell it.
Leave the 17t and get a 52 ring. 80gi, 17 skid patches, and you’ll look awesome.
im sorry, but this is fucking retarded. A 13 year old should not be riding brakeless on 80 inches.
I thought .isaac. was some grumpy 35yr old fixed gear pioneer on a lugged steel bicycle.
i mean, its possible, but i just don’t think so.
Actually… this /\
feigning from placing oneself in unnecessarily risky situations is a total waste of the glorious years entailed with an undeveloped prefontal cortex
There will be plenty of time for unnecessarily risky situations after puberty.
