I’ve lowered the seat since this photo, and will probably drop it a little bit more before I ride home today. I think I got a bit excited on saddle height for a little bit there!

I have SKS chromoplastics on my Salsa Casseroll. Awesome.
How are you going to mount - unless I’ve missed them, I don’t see eyelets on the All City frame/fork.

Subtle fender mounts: We hope you ride this bike in all conditions all year long, so with that in mind we added fender mounts. Since this is a race bike and we think traditional fender eyelets on race bikes are ugly, we hid the rear ones on the inside of the seat stays, and placed the fork fender eyelets on the blade to keep the look clean.
Shhh… She knows, but turns a blind eye. I think deep down she loves them too. In fact, I might ride them on Sunday. Just the bars, not my wife.

For what it’s worth, I really think the Planet Bike Cascadia Fenders are great value, murdered out all black with black on black branding.
Good luck finding some. We’ve been trying to get some for months at work. Unless you know of something I don’t. But I do agree with you, they’re not bad fenders. Still think the SKS are a touch better.

In order of best to worst:
Quality: SKS Chromoplastics/Planet Bike/VaVert/Zefal/Soma
Price: VaVert beats all with SKS style hardware and a $38 price tag. But you have to do the Wiggle to get them.

I think I’ll get SKS, just have to get over to Thornbury sometime soon to get some. I think I’d rather buy guards from a store, just incase they don’t fit etc.
