Has anyone had experience with these cranks and getting BMX pedals to fit? I’ve currently got some MKS pedals in and I’m finding there’s just not enough room for my fat foot on the platform.
Was trying to put Shadow Conspiracy pedals to fit but found it was getting too tight and didn’t want to do any further damage.
Can’t find any specs regarding pedal spindle requirements.

Your crank threads will be 9/16".
Presuming your shadow conspiracies are for 3 piece cranks, they’ll be 9/16" as well. If they’re for 1 piece cranks they’re 1/2"(?).
Grease up the threads, make sure your pedals go in straight (and make sure you have the right pedal matching the right crank arm). The drive side is right threaded, the non-drive side is left threaded.
Or try larger cages on the mks, grease is your friend.
Thanks Chimpy, I’ll try again. I noticed it was always started to go in on an angle for some reason.
Don’t think larger cages are going to help Dayne. I’m find that there is just too much play from side to side when my feed are in the cages. I think I just have to resign to the fact that these pedals aren’t for me even though they look the part.
Yeah it sounds like you’ve began to cross thread them. Pain is that it can be a bit annoying trying to get them in straight. If they’re cross threaded significantly, you can thread your pedal in from the other side, all the way into the crank arm, nice and tight. This will correct the threads as best as possible without buying new cranks.
Awesome tip, thanks. I’ve place the MKS back in there for the time being (went back in smoothly), but I’ll try your suggestion first before putting the other pedals in.
