So much good buying at the moment.
I’m gonna have to offload a bunch very soon, especially as pics of this landed in my inbox this morning. Alan CX frame in Concorde colours that was formerly owned by a US National champ. Can’t stop drooling, no use for it, but I’m thinking about it.
That velo sale is really just an amalgamation of a few smaller ones.
I ordered a front rando rack, rear constructeur, stainless mudguards and some other beardo shit for the porteur.
Package arrive din about 3 days with regular post. Excellent service.
^3 days? from the states? wowsers indeed.
Matt’s right? Don’t need, do want.
I bought VO fenders from Commuter Cycles just the other day and they were actually cheaper. Plus I got excellent advice and extra spacers, bolts and shit for free. Go local retail!
I’ve always wanted one of those randonneur front racks though. The curse of the beard.
Yes, go for it. I can email you the price/details etc 55cm squaure-ish
Cheeky Transport is the only Sydney supplier/stockist, and everything is 2-3 times dollar more there. Unjustifiable.
They usually only have limited stock too, so if they don’t have it on the shelf it’s easier/quicker/cheaper to order from the states. Couple of times I would’ve bought VO things there, but they didn’t have it and weren’t putting an order in for a while.
any idea which Us champ it was? i’m pretty sure i saw an old shot of pete webber riding something similar a couple of days ago, but alans were the ‘ridleys’ of the elite cx world in the 90s or so im told.
Now sold and is staying in the US.
It was previously ridden by Clark Natwick.
