what does a binding chain “feel” like?
sheldon says that’s bad.

just wondering cause i like my chain pretty much super tight and wondering if i had it TOO tight.
(if it is not super tight i get this “suck” - this tiny dead spot where drive takes that instance longer to equate with real DRIVE)

When chain tension is so tight your hub’s and BB’s bearings feel like they’re not turning freely, and your chain kind of grinds its way around your sprocket and chainring.

Not too tight, not too loose. It’s a feeling thing, like cup-and-cone bearings is a feeling thing.
