Bridgestone Anchor PHM9

This was my Bridgetone Anchor PHM9 that I sold very recently. I imported it from Japan in 2023 and rode the hell out of it for 2 years. Did alleycats, commuting, group rides. No crazy distances but I had so much fun tearing it around town. I loved the responsiveness of it and the instant power transfer. It just made you feel fast regardless of how quick you were going.

As you might be able to guess from the saddle height, it was a bit small. I tried to compensate with a big stem and by pushing the seat all the way back but it always felt cramped. For 2 years I was so stoked with the bike that I didn’t care but eventually it began to really bother me and so I sold it on. I will almost certainly regret it, but I’m a 1-bike-in-1-bike-out kind of guy and there is no room in the stable for sentimental value (sadly).

Honestly, I’ve been wanting to make a post on PedalRoom for years but I’ve always had access issues with the website. So this will have to do!

That would have been so much fun. My tyres used to look like that.
