I can’t believe what I am reading…
That was an incredible ride by Cadel: he rode a perfect race. Those last two laps were amazing, so much pain! Yes it was a lame celebration but so is doing every other celebration that cyclists have done numerous times before (besides the fishing rod, I am still waiting to win that D-grade crit and bring that one out).
I don’t know what you guys were watching but that was a spiritual display of one day bike racing. Brilliant team effort as well.
I am very happy for him.
