Campagnolo clamp on to braze on front derailleur

Here’s my issue and im hoping some one with superior knowledge can help me out.

I’ve got a Campanolo Record 10 speed front derailleur on my roadie currently but the new frame that im swapping the groupset over to requires a braze on derailleur. Not wanting to go out and purchase a new braze on Record deralier im wondering if its possible to get a second hand lower end 10 speed braze on derailer and swap over the necessary parts to make it work.

So far im thinking that it is possible but would like some confirmation. Although feel more than free to tell me its impossible/not worth it/buy a new bike.

Rather not. The clamp diameter will still be to big anyway

i converted a centaur clamp-on to braze-on with a donor daytona fd. record 10s looks about the same.
i’d guess that any mid-spec up will be cross compatible

i have a 9s mirage in my box, and it’s not the same as the others (centaur, daytona, chorus, record)

Buy a new mech, simplest and you know it will work. Using a centaur or up you won’t notice much difference in performance.
Veloce a bit clunkier , in my opinion very underrated as value for money, and performance.
