Cousin Balki's Melbourne Rant Thread.

it ain’t the car that smells…

you keep buying beans, i keep eating em.

So you keep the windows up?

rode thru swanston st at lunch today, from rmit past the library, 2 of 5 public transport officers standing on the bike path area of the new cobbles. also had to contend with peds walking into and out of the entry/exit of it because they didn’t want to walk directly across the crossing to the other curb.

yeah, that right there pisses me off to no end, esp when alighting a tram. picture a line that is perpendicular to the side of the tram that heads straight to the curb, and for the love of FUIC, WALK THIS LINE!! not three steps towards the curb, then start walking parallel to it for 5-35 metres in the middle of the lane…meanwhile the tram has shut it’s doors and traffic has started moving again, well, it would be if you weren’t blocking it!

UGH.

fucken dutch oven motherfucker. fart fumes are sXe.

on to observations. i rode through essendon tonight. it was nice.

I hate Swanston st since those “upgrades” were made.

Did you sing the theme song with gusto?

why yes, yes i did. and, having reclaimed it from KO, i was wearing my bombers scarf. and also noticed a marked increase in essendon member stickers on cars. it’s nice, you know, that footy teams still have that local base.

It will be a great shame when they more the training facilities to Airport West.

Do road work signs in the bike lane annoy anyone else?

Did anyone see the lady throwing off all of her clothes and stomping bare foot up Elizabeth St this morning?

I was going to stop to help her but she looked like the kind of crazy that would eat my face off

^ That was Brendan.

Ha ha

dude needs to lay off the ice

If your description of her look is accurate, bath salts.

She had the crazy eyes

You did well to avoid her (i.e. you still have your face)

She is there most mornings if its the same lady, but not always stripping.

you don’t know my pain!

I move them out of the way.

As much as bins in the sydney road bike lane each thursday morning. its not as if dodging the pot holes wasnt enough work :frowning:
