Was taking some pictures for the record, so figured I’d post 'em up. I’m a family-man now, so I’m keeping things simple with two bikes – one for the daily commute, and one for the weekend – and I’m feeling pretty settled with these two as they are.
Commuter

KHS Flite 100 frameset
Miche cranks & BB, CycleUndeground chainring, EAI Superstar cog, KMC Z510HX chain
Velocity Deep V + Formula wheelset with Durano Plus tyres
Thomson stem, seatpost, seatclamp, alloy Cinelli pista drops, Regal saddle, MKS pedals
SKS Chromoplastics (fit with 23c front and 25c back and a Miche longreach brake)
Pretty solid and reliable commuter. The Flite serves well with reasonably tight track geometry but just fits the fenders (and has fender eyelets). Drivetrain works real nice. CU + Superstar + Z510 HX = smooth and silent.
Weekender

Chinese carbon frame (FM-028 from Dengfu)
Chorus 11 groupset
Easton EA90 SL wheelset
Easton EC70 bars, EC90 seatpost, Ritchey WCS stem, Prologo Scratch Nack saddle, Look Keos
Pretty light and climbs well. The FM-028 has a slight sportive geometry, but I don’t race, don’t really like punching fast runs on the flats and like long solo rides in the mountains, so it suits me just fine. Very happy with the Dengfu frame, which kept the total build to around $1800 (with a fair bit of patience).
