Yeah rained last night I think but heaps sunny today. Such awesome weather
this has happened at nearly every DDCX race since it started. pretty sure the only time it rained was up @ coburg somewhere & it was after all the racing was finished.
I helped set up at the prologue about a month ago and it was a bit shit. Got heaps wet on the ride there from west footscray but then it got sunny after the course was roped out. Wasn’t even enough rain to make it muddy, so silly

Was lots of fun, first time CX race and first time I had my Bamboo 3 speed under any real steam. Will be back for the next one for sure.

As usual well run shindig. Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers -where do you champs find the time for being so awesome?. One highlight among many was Nikcee yelling “Purple monkey dishwasher” at me, resulting in me laughing uncontrollably and almost binning it while trying to clip in.

Another year, another missed round of ddcx. Stoked to see how successful it was though.
Awesome racing and a ton of fun to watch. Makes me want to give it a crack next time around.

Critical memory failure means I’ve lost about 25gb of the footage I took (the vast majority).
So gutted right now.
