Dirty deeds 2014

Damn!!!

I just recovered all of my photos and footage from my corupt hard drive, cost me $100 but worth it.

the keys on the carabiner whilst racing were a sweet touch.

its racers who ‘run what they brung’ that keep a good balance with the ‘srs bidness’ C and B graders (and its even better when MikeD and Luke P and Tate when he is costume) gallop past them.

I was pondering a heckle (between course maintenance/safety duties over there) and i felt that recognising your comments on your grading each time was important.

Many thanks to everyone who helped out in any way yesterday. We definitely get by with a little help from our friends (old and new).

Thanks to all involved as usual. Another great event. The crowd on Pavlis’ Hill really does bring the ruckus. Had a weird day behind the lens yesterday and got home, looked at the photos and didn’t really like any of them. Hopefully my head is a little less critical of myself this evening and I should have a set up later tonight.

Looking forward to the next round as always. Many thanks to all of those who put in the massive efforts to make these days as much fun as they are.

Hard drive looks fine. The crash happened mid-import and the result seems to be the memory card is toast.
Recovery tool shows all the files were/are there and now just a matter of trying to rescue them from the memory card.

@Rooster - always your own toughest critic. I’m sure there are some shots in that bunch.

Thanks DDCX! Such a good day for it.

And agree all the ‘run what they brung’ peeps it what keeps it real and not so serious

Yep, we picked up a few in ‘srs bidness’ racers in B starting from the back row, the conversation at the 1st barrier (once everything came to a complete stop) about out weekends got a few laughs.

Edit: I might actually try and take the next race semi-seriously and start from the 2nd row or something.

Yeah great day, plenty of ruckus on the hill is always look for sime, kit, Tate and that crowd as I know the heckle will be good.
No hmc was the only downer I really miss that guy.
Lots of highlights mainly Hugh nailing the hard corner on his old sscx, spiro also nailing it in the end.
Thanks again to all involved

I’m flattered Dayne. Right back at cha. I will try my best to be at the next one.

Sorry, Dayne. HMC couldn’t come because he didn’t finish his Kant essay when he was supposed to be working on it… I visited him the other day then when he was seeing me out he locked himself out barefoot for hours.

Also I had a great day. Thanks to all who put in lots of time to make it happen.

Fuck yeah, what a great vid!!

Cheers man.
I spent the whole day bummed out about the footage I lost.
Then I thought I should be happy I still had any at all and started to get excited about what I could do. I went back to HSV tonight to get a little extra footage for the start of the video, then cut this all up in about an hour. Pretty happy with how it came out in the end and really chuffed that everyone put on such a good show and I was able to get the footage in the first place. Chapeau competitors!

That’s rad Luke!
