Here’s a quick easy one:
Take bananas still in peel, slice open, stuff in chocolate, wrap in foil, bung on BBQ.
Give it a few minutes, serve with cream.

I actually had a bbq on the weekend. Spare ribs for the wogs. They turned out awesome - 3 hour cook with a dry rub and made my own bbq sauce.

Here you go - BBQ Sauce recipe. Just watch it when it cooks down that it doesn’t become too thick. Just keep adding water to get it to the consistency you want it. If you don’t like chunky bits of onion in the sauce, blitz it after its cooked down.

Some chipotle in adobo would go well with the sauce if you want some heat + more smokey.

I just chucked in about 200ml to begin with, and then just adjusted from there - I also added a bit more Worcestershire as it was beginning to taste a little tart. I should also mention that this sauce was used to baste the ribs in the final 20 minutes of cooking, so it did become super sticky. The wogs dunked their bread in it and were pretty happy.

Can endorse secret sauce (sans cornichons). Almost everywhere in France had ketchup, mayo and mustard on the table so I’d always mix all three when I was eating something with fries on the side.
we have a stack of frozen cherries my wife boiled up a while ago, so am going to have a crack at something along the lines of the cherry pepper sauce, maybe with a bit of chilli instead.
