benzy is about to revolutionize parmas.

‘the parma menace’!

If you’re ever deep in the northern suburbs, stop into Lazoz kebab and chicken cafe. They have THE BEST kebabs in Melbourne, this include their falafel and meat varieties.
Shop 1A/159 Blair Street, Dallas.

DO IT!!!

there’s a suburb called Dallas in Melbourne?

Just north of Broadmeadows. Its very ghetto and I had never heard of it until we had to visit a site there.

i’ve just been told by the receptionists that if there were to be a drive-by in melbourne, dallas would be the place. she refuses to even drive through it.

Its worth the risk purely for these kebabs.

Felafel sliders:

the best falafel is a souvlaki…

fascist!

edit:thinking of becoming vegan just so i can contribute to this thread, and also so Benzy will like me more.

Half Moon Cafe +1. Egyptian style falafel made with Fava beans - the taste is most excellent.

and a nice chianti?

fuh fuh fuh fuh fuh

If you mean chianti the red wine, then yes, it would be huge with some vino, but you’ll have to get takeaway or BYO or something because alcs just ain’t halal. Either way, that shiz would put you to sleep its pretty heavy on the stomach. Speaking of heavy on the stomach, y’all should try the “Foul Medammes” - its like a stew made of Fava beans, so good, possibly better than falafel but thats just my opinion.

I’m pretty sure Agents of Abhorrence had a song called ‘Bow to Felafel’. It made me want to bow to felafel.

Either way, +1 for Tiba.

There is a place across from Lambs on Lygon St (near trades hall) that does this red lentil kebab which, IMHO, far surpasses any felafel kebab I have had.
