Felafel.

can do. I knew we lived near by for a reason.

I’m sitting at my desk, eating some Tiba’s right now. Awesome.

I WAS eating Tibas 20 minutes ago, was busy!

this thread brings out the wog in me  :stuck_out_tongue: … and I’m not even in Melbs

Mrs. Spirito and I are gonna travel to Damascus one day. Just the thought makes me hungry !!!

just the thought makes me pun…

actually, my old man makes the best felafel in melbs. not open to general public unfortunately.

also, not quiet melbourne, but they used to dish up a fine felafel at confest, but then again there may be many reasons why it seemed to taste so good.

Oasis middle eastern bakery (is now a lot more than a bakery) on North Rd in Murrumbeena.
Great falafel rolls, lamb and beef shawarmas, spinach and walnut pies, cheese pies, soujuk pizzas, desserts, lebanese coffee etc.
It’s also a grocery shop with lots of foreign (mostly middle eastern) food.

I highly recommend the Lebanese coffee and falafel rolls for eating in and their hommus to take home. Their hommus shits all over the crap in the supermarket.

It used to be a barely visible shop in a semi industrial estate but they are slowly taking over the place. First they bought out the place on the left and converted it to a car park, now they’ve bought out the place on the right and created a huge new market and eatery while they renovate the original building in the middle.

Great felafel on Toorak rd (near Crue coffee, just up from Chapel) has been there forever. go during the week the old guy there has the skills.
