Such a good film.
Speaking of Gyllenhaal, I watched Enemy the other night, would recommend. Good for those who like having things left open to interpretation.
I would recommend any of Denis Villeneuves’ films tbh, so far they have all been good in my opinion.

Watched ‘Don Hemmingway’ with Jude Law and Richard E Grant last night. Super forgettable. The trailer is good though. Just watch that.
Also, watched ‘Rum Diaries’. The hunter s Thomson adaptation. About 25 minutes too long. Second act drags on.
Just watched King of Kong. If you’re in any way interested in old skool arcade games or even underdogs taking on the big guns, it comes highly recommended.

Saw Birdman last night. It’s OK but not great really. Some good ideas, but it doesn’t really take off. Also, too long.

That alleyway fight is brutal.
Not a bad film - different to their usual stuff if you have watched their other climbing films. But an interesting insight into the history of climbing in Yosemite. Worth a watch if you’re into climbing.
As someone who wore out a bootleg copy of this album that one of the older kids gave him in year 7. I am really looking forward to this movie.

Plot was pretty re-hashed for the last Judge Dredd movie.
The 2012 Dredd that was on telly last week? Caught the final scene where the girl falls down the atrium onto the concrete. Mental, alright…
It’s well worth watching, as a huge Dredd fan I was really impressed.
Some of the slo mo gunfight scenes are really well shot.
