Also consider throwing better inner soles in them and even try a cross trainer, New runners are amazing but have a pretty short lifespan as the cut durability down to up performance.

Those old man New Balance shoes that 80 year old men buy from The Athlete’s Foot are leather, so would last longer than a running shoe. Also almost 90s dad cool.
