I get emails & notifications pretty much every time something happens on the FOA account. currently turning most of them off.

IMHO its a good micronews service. theres also a few ppl i follow on their for their article recommendations/links (i doubt they are on FB).

during bike races (esp cross) the conversations and commentary are easier to follow then FB. plus often funnier. updates faster too.

#ashes was great to follow on twitter during the first test. Especially when Watson was batting.
