What time are you putting the internet feed on Rolly? We are doing it all again tonight aren’t we?
Ok, the dust has settled, sleep has been had, mind is now clear enough to post up some thank you’s!!
Last Thursday was incredible, turnout was seriously awesome and really pleased to see many new faces (hopefully I had time to say a quick hello/welcome to those new to FOA). I managed to ask a few people where they’d heard of the event and was stoked to hear that the DDCX blog post was helpful, as was the Coffee Peddlr influence. Coffee and bikes, mates forever.
So, a MASSIVE thank you to the following sponsors/people for making this event a bit of a banger:
Pony Bikes Saint Cloud Creux Coffee Peddlr (seriously, how fuckin cool is that van!!) Knog Treadlie Magazine (if you are, or know, the person/people that won a Treadlie tee shirt, get in touch, there’s a subscription for you too!!) Valhalla Social Cinema (these guys provided the massive screen and projector and Jose was packing up until 3:30am!!!)
Benny Tatts (#benovese) Andy Rogers/Rooster/Fame and Spear (pics on their way) The Electron Workshop (best venue, check it out if you need a desk for your start up)
Blakey for saving the day when our brand new antenna was being a total dick and not picking up SBS. You’re a legend.
Brendan for keeping me calm when our antenna was being a total dick. Also for MC’ing and putting up with the restless crowd.
HMC for helping brenno and being a rad dude. Beatbox Kitchen Dirty Deeds Urban Cyclocross for the promo help Paul Williams/P-dub
Mike D/Steve Duggan/Jimmy Dead Legs/Jessie Jean/k o/chaz for volunteering and helping.
No more TdF obviously, but movie night will roll on, full details announced once I’ve sorted it out!!
Thanks again to everyone that came down and helped make it a really sweet event
