yep all fair views - mine was just from the view of a regular lurker. Seemed things just turned into a lot of in-jokes/circlejerking (eg rofl potato sw8 fixay etc) which made it hard for new users (unless they came asking about a rivendell or brompton). Plus thread locking also seemed so frequent it was circlejerk or nothing.
im with you though, i have no idea where else people congregate virtually anymore. I still come search here when i need, and cross my fingers someones listed a cutprice sparkly metallic purple makino frame…
