My old man was a cyclist in the 70’s and then heavily involved in bikes there after. In the 90’s he ran the patties lakes tour in Gippsland for about 10 years. I was only about 7 or 8 but I vividly remember visiting kypos workshop (shed) in Gippsland with frames hanging up. His place was on a hill out in the back skirts of Gippsland and overlooked the valley below. I think he was involved with the race at some point to but can’t remember exactly. Dad got a custom kypo which he still has to this day sitting in the shed in good cond. considering it hasn’t been ridden in years. Sadly I’m too tall for it, I’ll take a pic for you guys and post it up 
Sad news; Robert Kypriotis passed away today.
I feel very lucky to own a Kypo and to have had the opportunity to speak with him back in 2024.
