I messaged the painters to ask about colour options, will likely base my final decision on how responsive they are and whether they have a colour I want. Definitely leaning towards real.
How did this work out for you? I’m getting a frame built in the next 6 months and hoping to find a place to get it painted for under $400.
I have a friend who had a frame painted very nicely at Classic Motorcycle Painting - don’t know if it’s a service that they would offer regularly though. I might give them a call a little closer to completion.
Hasn’t worked out yet, I messaged them and the first time they were quick but then I tried to follow up and looks like it fell through the cracks so I need to ping them again.
I just picked up a frame fork and bars from Andrew - nice guy.
about a month turn around time, and you’d need to be clear about what you want.
paint is nice but not perfect - some masking could have been cleaner.
