I have to say after watching the Chileans play- what a bunch of theatrical bastards they were! So many fake falls it was ridiculous.
Seeing Italy and England play, I don’t recall seeing one incident…

the weekend of games was crazy.
got a few persian friends here so felt gutted for them when messi bent that one in.
oh and the germany/ghana second half was so good.
felt gutted when the us let it slip…but got over it super easy so it’s nice to know i haven’t turned into a full american.
finger’s crossed for an aussie draw and croatia win. seriously…croatia v mexico is going to be one f the craziest games of the round robin me-thinks. croatia have to win to go through, mexico to draw. crowd will be bonkers.
comfortably the best start to a wc i can remember…even with 2 aussie losses.
