Honestly though, Giant does invoke a slight ‘mehhh’ feeling when I see them. But like you said, they are unique in other countries.

Is it socially acceptable to wear safety orange (baggy) shorts while riding an orange bike*.
not that i’m planning on buying an orange bike anytime soon but i may need to future proof my wardrobe (or stop being a cheapskate and buying $25 a pair high viz king gee pants off ebay)

I AM thinking about repainting one of my frames (after i do some metalwork on it). Orange could be the new whatever colour i was previously considering*.
As an added bonus it is actually a TREK

yeah but this one is vintage (1983) and has lugs (with “trek” actually cast into them) and it used to be a fixie (with a dyno hub)
