True story: Most of my hipster mates in Sydney have in fact swapped fixies for fishing.
razorback before it burned
murrumbidgee after work
with Ev while K was shredding
lots of this sort of thing all summer at lunch time
I had a bloody great summer… probably my best ever.
Bruce Ridge?
yep… its a 10min ride from my desk and is usually dry and loose enough to keep things interesting.
As most of you will know - my summer was spent a little differently. Instagram ahoy!
^ Xmas day.
You sure JLN isn’t your brother? Faaark.
BUT, I actually read that column. Tell your brother that I catch Redfin on fly at Lake Tuggeranong. I have never seen anyone fly fishing down there apart from me.
Ezy, can you please refresh my memory with the link to your real photos of your holiday? I think it would suit this thread perfectly.
I can definitely tell you that we aren’t the same person. I have seen and touched JLN and the universe is still in tact
If you squint this could be summer…
Anyway, looks like it was an awesome trip and it serves you right to have 3 winters in a row
It was a pretty good hug, and The JAMS was there to witness it.
That it was. Love a good hug.
JAMS should have taken a photo and signed a witness document
Second last pic o yours, Ezy… holy smokes, that is awesome.
Thanks JP - thats Yosemite NP. The full day we were there they had the years biggest rainfall. Our trusty tent didn’t leak a drop while we were soaked to our bones from being out there all day.

Sure are bro.
Killer glasses. Wow, what a good looking dog, and you’re not wrong about the above … as cliche as it sounds everybody should at least once drive through Colorado/Utah/Nevada to see the above and also the Grand Canyon. It’s jaw droppingly stunning, immense in scale and truly something marvelous to see in person. I was always like meh, it’s just a hole in the desert but when I first drove through I stopped the car, sat on the edge or a rocky mesa and had something of a spiritual awakening feeling surrounded by one of natures most beautiful creations.
Also some sections of road are without speed limits … weird feeling passing a cop car that was already doing about 180kp/h.
Saw a documentary on the blue bear a while ago, the “artist” had someone else design the 3d computer image, then had someone else 3d print it, then had someone else scale it up so that someone else could build and install it.
Basically his only input was saying i want a big blue bear.
In the dead of winter I can get back to summer at any moment via this mixtape. DOWNLOAD THEM!
