I found an old repco on the side of the road. Was considering turning into into a single speed as it had the right drop outs. Went down to abbortsford cycles and the guy there convinced me that it was basically a “supermarket bike” that was probably dumped for a good reason! So i did the right thing and dumped it again for some other hopeful
I rebuilt a repco superlight that cost me $15 in total, throwing together parts lying around gathering dust. Should of held onto it dude theres something magical about a supermarket beater.
anyone heard of Hallmark roadbikes, I found one and took it home, what should I do with it? I have a fixie wheelset to put on or just leave it as is? its got a mad purple paint job as well
there’s 2 crappy looking frames locked together outside bridie oreillys on the corner of sydney and brunswick rd, been sitting there for some time now. ones an apollo roadie and something else, didnt have a close look. does that count as hard rubbish?
Scored an awesome Vintage Willow tartan esky with rust a while back, about 4 working Repco Travelers, half decent 57cm Shogun roadie, 51cm Hillman roadie with Mavic wheels, 600 everything etc. some other shit bike with brand new 700c continental tyres, about 10 perfect condition ladies bikes and fuck loads more.
Kinda helps that i drive 1000km a weekend and have an empty van most of the time.
