infinite darkness!

Nice build. How do fast are the smart wheels? I hear they are in the zipp fire crest awesome range… My 45s are fast as fuck and they reckon the smarts are night and day…

Bike totally looks the goods. I’ve been thinking about upgrading to the 2012 SR. I’m using 2010 mechs and shifters right now… What do you thing about the changes campag have made to the gruppo worth the extRa cost… ?

How come your running the kool stop brake pads…? The enve pads that come with the smart system wheels are 1000% better. They do wear real fast though, still it’s a small price for brakes that work in the wet…

From a distance the pads look like Swiss stop yellows (great pad after they gum up the rim a bit)

Terrible pads, grabbie, The gumming of the rims causing squealing and pulsing plus your better off sticking your foot in the wheel if you wana slow down in the rain…
I have 4 lightly used pairs if your acutally like em…

can i has?

For a wee bit of monies I don’t see why not… I’ve just moved and the kanye workshop is in boxes so I’ll
Have to find em…

the smarts are stupid good. get them.
2012 super is much better than 2010, i’ve used both. get it.

my rims aren’t gummed, the pads work really well and don’ squeal. including in the wet.
i’m pretty happy with them. the enve pads i got with my rims are for shimano, so i can’t use them on this bike, but whatever, who fucking uses brakess anyway.

Yea braking is a bit over rated it only fucks your averages…
Whats the best price you can get a set of shifters and mechs for in SR 2012… I’d rather keep my money in Australia rather than sending it to shinny bikes…

I will have a partial gruppo for sale though.

2010 shifters and mechs with 4k on em… And a little bark missing from a little chain suck and a ‘putting it down’ indecent. Plus a set f compact 170 sr cranks with a round 2k on em… Will be in expensive…

Shifters and mechs in the post.

Can you change the band of the clamp on mechs? I got a 35mm clamp on and it’ll be easier to sell if its changeable.

Good enough for Vacansoleil in the Roubaix

Bet you he gets no choice in the matter unlike me… I’ve been trying out different pads for my wheels and the Yellows are at the bottom of the list… I don’t like em and i’ve tried few pairs of them…

I rate the enve grey pads… And love the reynolds cryo blues… Both work amazingly in the wet and have enough bite in the dry to get the back wheel in the air with confidence and total control.

Yeah that fucker has to ride a poor performaning heavy 6.8kg bike - bet he lives out west too…

I love the wealth of information shared by knowlageable types such as your self. Makes this place the best…

Agreed.

the horror

Just like chicks choose and prefer different pads, so do cyclists. Each to their own…

AD, who did the painting for you, and have you got any details please sir?

wasn’t cheap ( i spent twice as much on paint as i did on stem), but it was easy and very well done.

Thankyou muchly.

Thats one of the best looking bikes i’ve seen in a long time
well done on the build!

Yup loving this, I don’t mind one bit that all the top line bikes are getting blacked out at the moment Batman FTW
